LAMPA STORY
With the gradual but ever more dynamic opening of the consumer market during the 60s he focused his efforts on a small manufacturing business that sold its spare parts for cars to just a small cluster of Italian provinces.
With the significant increase in the volume of sales, in the early 80s the company was incorporated into an S.p.A. in which all the capital has remained to this day in the hands of the Marutti family.
Later, toward the middle of the 90s, LAMPA S.p.A. decided to get involved in a new sector devoted to leisure time, initiating the distribution a vast array of items, including accessories for bicycles. In bike accessory sector as well, LAMPA S.p.A. can boast of being one of the leading players in the field. At the beginning of the new millennium LAMPA kicked off a new program of investments aimed at creating a new manufacturing plant to be built on an area some 25,000 square meters, intended to guarantee vastly improved merchandise stocking and handling capacities thanks to sophisticated computerized management systems.
